The Town of Stanardsville will host the annual Virginia Clay Festival on September 16 & 17, Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 to 5:00. The event will be located at William Monroe High School, 254 Monroe Dr. This art show celebrates the creative possibilities of clay and draws potters, sculptors and jewelers from around the state selling their latest work. There will be numerous pottery demonstrations each day, as well as musicians playing old time and traditional Irish music. There will be lots of artisanal food trucks all day each day.
