In celebration of National Black Bear Day, the Town of Stanardsville will host the Virginia Black Bear Festival on Saturday, June 1st, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This all day community event celebrates nature and mountain outdoors in Greene County, Shenandoah National Park, and the Appalachian Trail. The free event for the entire family includes live entertainment, fun interactive activities, educational presentations, delicious food, and more.
