Mayor Mike Payne is hosting a second “Let’s Chat” event to hear from the community about ideas for the future of Stanardsville, in the Greene Commons Pavilion, on Saturday, October 28, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. All Greene County citizens and businesses are invited to attend, as well as local non-profit organizations and other community groups. Please come and share your voice and vision about what you’d like to see for next steps in this historic county seat. Significant infrastructure improvements have been completed to make the town more attractive, walkable, and safer for pedestrians. Efforts are now underway to attract new businesses and other economic development. But we need to know your thoughts and ideas about what you want for our small town. All voices with a vested interest in our community are welcome.
