Greene County Historical Society will hold a Grand Opening of its new Museum and Linwood A Rhodes Gallery at 360 Main Street in Stanardsville on Sunday, October 4th. Opening ceremonies will start promptly at 3:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. The museum and gallery will remain open until 5:00 p.m. to welcome members and friends to their new location.
The Historical Society emphasizes that the generosity of Linwood Rhodes and Ethyle Giuseppe have made it possible for them to exhibit a myriad of items donated by Greene County families during the 36+ years since their founding that have remained in storage for lack of space.
Subsequent to the Grand Opening, the Museum’s opening hours will continue as previously: Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. , and by appointment. For more information, click here for their website: Greene County Historical Society
